Failing in Hope

It is unfortunate that the rescue effort was abandoned.
When I worked as an EMCA my life was on the line and I never had a situation where I turned my back . I am not going to say the rescue team is derelict in their duties in aborting the rescue but there is a missing link somewhere . Where are the hellicopters, the armed forces , the additional rescue groups . The mayor is speaking to a reporter on television is this what is a priori for the moment or should it be we cannot give up as long as human lives are at stake
....thank You the search is back in vogue according to the media

Went to check that out , nobody is in the hole except the people trapped there. The crowd was getting roudy so this news calmed the situation , now new equipment and experienced mine rescue teams will arrive by morning
A government local rep came to give a spiel and along with the police efforts communications remained civil and there is no riot .
If anyone is still alive they are in for a long night as new plans are being worked on .
At 3 A.M. the rescue crew are working under a type of tent and it appears they are setting up pieces for some form of scaffold. It is a chilly night and the rain we had in the past few days only aggrevates the catastrophy.
Other than the workers , there are only a couple of groups of young people and law enforcement officers presently at the scene
